Interviews with Weldon Hart concerning his experiences as a public relations executive and the executive director of the Texas Good Roads Association. Hart discusses his experiences as press secretary and appointment secretary to former Governors Beauford Jester (1947-1950) and Allan Shivers (1950-1957), as well as head of the Texas Employment Commission. He also talks about the organization of a Texas political machine and lobbying for the highway construction industries of Texas.
